Osseodensification and PET course

Osseodensification and PET course, Zagreb BEGO Brash

Zagreb, Croatia: May 20th - 21st2021

1. Day

Osseodensification: Optimize the Site - Optimize the Outcome

Osseodensification is a novel implant preparation technique that facilitates ridge expansion by compaction autografting. This implant site preparation technique increases biomechanical primary stability, bone mineral density, and Bone-to-Implant Contact. Crestal sinus floor elevation can easily be performed, without hammer and any other special equipment. Molar septum expansion is possible like never before.

Lecture:

How can we preserve bone, plastically expand it, and enhance its strength in a controlled method?
The effect of Osseodensification on implant stability development for early and immediate loading
Risk assessment and avoiding complications

Hands on:

sub - crestal sinus lift
lateral ridge expansion
immediate implant placement with OD

2. Day

Partial Extraction Therapy (PET)

Partial Extraction Therapy: trendy therapy? What`s behind? What are the biological principles? What does actual literature say? Why is PET superior to other therapies especially for adjacent implants and multiple sites? Which are the most common complications and how to manage them?

This course will provide attendees with an in-depth review of every aspect of Partial Extraction Therapy: socket shield with immediate and delayed implant placement, pontic shield, proximal shield, root submergence therapy, socket shield with apicoectomy, and with the newest development in utilization of partial extraction therapies.

The Hands-on will utilize by Snjezana Pohl designed prosthetic models.
