Consider the app „Decision Matters“ as a “cheat sheet” for implant surgery in the aesthetic area that supplements this course perfectly. It is a non-linear manual containing all procedures learned in the course.
Surgical procedures are explained and illustrated click after click.
With its intuitive design, you can also jump from one topic to another, allowing you to dive deeper into areas you are most interested in or procedures you want to learn more about.

You will have the coursebook when the course is over, a written record of what has been studied for a later review.

You can turn the pages, recall the facts and write your notes.

The goal is that you apply the knowledge immediately after the course. If you don’t perform procedures, you will forget them. You won’t be left alone in this process: we will have a monthly study club to discuss cases and problems and to share your success.

I was blessed in my career with the opportunity to place hundreds of implants in the aesthetic area. It took me many years of education and experience to produce predictable successful outcomes. Collapse prevention is superior to reconstruction, and nothing compares to the results achieved by using autologous tissue. Each conference and course I attended, each book and scientific paper I read, gave me a piece of a puzzle, and it took me many years to put them together, get an OVERVIEW, and develop my DECISION TREE. I consider this guidance for the decision-making process for applying specific protocols in implant surgery my most valuable contribution to the students I have been mentoring.
YOU WILL GET A CLEAR OVERVIEW AFTER THIS COURSE.
All procedures you need to treat confident your patients and all execution steps will be explained understandably.
You will get WHY, WHAT, and HOW.
Scientific literature is my passion. You will benefit from this. I won’t bore you: I’ll provide you with a “Reader’s Digest” of the literature that matters because I want you to know WHY. Only when we understand WHY can we know WHAT and HOW.

WHY HYBRID COURSE?
You get the best out of your time and your money!
In my rich experience, courses consist of 70% of teaching in a dark room and 30% of hands-on training on pig jaws. I was often angry with myself because, despite my willingness to learn, I was fighting to stay focused and AWAKE after I spent $$$ and €€€. Jet lag, little sleep, dark room… Modules…who has time to attend 5 - 6 courses?
The theoretical part can be handled online, at your own pace. You come well prepared for the course.
Hands-on in a sun-lit space with a sea view. Four days of hands-on training on models designed exclusively for this course while also benefiting from intensive supervision and interaction in a small group.
Mobile application "Decision matters":
the very first app for implant surgery

ONLINE LECTURES
The forty online lectures are not randomly recorded presentations but are purpose-built up and recorded exclusively for this course.
But wait, maybe you are scared of endless evenings spent watching videos? If you are familiar with the content, you are welcome to skip the lecture. If you want to ensure that you don’t miss something: there will be a 5 minutes summary at the end of the lesson. And if you prefer the deep dive: stay with me to the end of each lecture!
HANDS-ON
After you learn WHY and WHAT, you will experience a four-day course on the island I call my home, Krk in Croatia.
You exercise each procedure until you feel confident performing it. You will harvest, split, cut, displace, drill and suture on quality models and animal jaws.
Also, you will receive a course booklet where you can take notes
FUN & MORE
During the 1st daybreak, we will have a 1-hour guided sightseeing tour in Krk, a small, Mediterranean town with a rich history going back over 2000 years. We will start and end earlier on the second day to go on a boat trip, while the third day concludes with a get-together party featuring local musicians are included in the price
May is a great time for sailing & Co; think about prolonging your stay in Croatia. We are happy to connect you with charters in the close by Punat marina.
HOW TO COME TO KRK, CROATIA?
There are direct flights from London, Frankfurt, Warsaw, and some other destinations (it varies from season to season).
We will organize a transfer to the island for those arriving at Zagreb airport.
